Used
for ‘DIPPING’ of Rayon, Nylon
and Polyester Tyre Cord Fabric.
In
the dipping process VP latex is mixed with
Resorcinol Formaldehyde (RF) aqueous resin
solution prepared in situ. The fabric is
dipped in this solution, dried and cured
in a ‘DIP UNIT’ with sophisticated
instrumentation to control speed of dipping.
Dip pick up, drying and curing temperature,
stretching, normalizing etc.
Dipped
fabric is essentially the load bearing component
that provides Tyres with the necessary reinforcements.
Quality of VP latex is one
of the crucial deciding factors in the
life of the casing, which is the fundamental
structure of the Tyre.
